We’ve highlighted the most important features and advantages of the Treasures of the Dead mod:

· Skeleton captains. Different types of mobs (currently 6 varieties) will spawn across the map at random. All of them have a high-quality appearance that fully matches the pirate theme, and they each have different parameters and characteristics. You’ll need to study each one carefully to effectively counter these groups of mobs;

· Animation. One of the best things in this add-on is the animation, so for proper work you’ll also need to install Geckolib. All mobs behave very realistically, have smooth animations, and it looks amazing. Compared to vanilla Minecraft, the difference is huge;

· Skulls. After killing captains, you can collect unique skulls used as trophies and decorations. They can be placed on blocks, fixed in place, and even move. There are 4 different types of items available, each with a colorful appearance. At night they glow beautifully;

· Trading with villagers. If you don’t want to collect skulls, you can trade them for valuable resources by talking to special NPCs in unique structures. They are generated throughout the world, but if you want, you can teleport to them using the command /locate structure treasures_of_the_dead:skull_merchant_house. A special work block will also appear, and you can assign any villager in a regular village to it if you wish;

· Treasures. In various dungeons and structures inhabited by these mobs, chests will spawn, but they can only be opened with keys obtained from mobs. One chest requires one key, and that’s the only way to get the loot. Explosions, pistons, and tricks won’t help here. The chests contain valuable materials and ores, and even for experienced players, they are a good reward;

· New outfits. The player can also obtain unique armor sets, mostly for appearance and to maintain the pirate style. You too can be a pirate, as about 3 full sets have been added. They are weak in terms of stats and not suitable for protecting the character, but visually they look unusual and colorful;

· Scrolls. You’ll find unique scrolls that provide new types of maps. They show pirate settlements, giving you another way to quickly find such structures in Minecraft;

· Adventures. Players have additional motivation to explore different biomes, since pirates can spawn anywhere, and you never know where you’ll meet them next;

· New explosives. In the Treasures of the Dead mod, players have access to a gunpowder barrel. Just right-click it to ignite, and after a few seconds, it explodes. It’s much stronger than TNT, so be careful when using it;

· New template. A new smithing template dropped by pirates is used for creating unique patterns. It doesn’t drop often, and on multiplayer servers it will be highly sought after by players.

This mod has many features, and now you will explore endless Minecraft worlds to meet pirates, get valuable loot, keys, new types of skulls, and much more. The system automatically assigns each creature its own unique nickname, giving the impression that you are playing some RPG project similar to Sea of Thieves with survival elements.
