Building Restrictions During Combat

In most cases, you can block everyone off with blocks, build around yourself to quickly restore HP, or try to teleport if it's a multiplayer server. Some players copy their playstyle from Fortnite, dealing damage to an enemy while simultaneously building different kinds of pillars (for better visibility and invulnerability), platforms, and other structures. But we suggest making this mechanic a bit more challenging by forbidding building when taking damage or fighting mobs. Do you understand what we mean?

Now everything will be much harder! At the same time, the Only Fight Or Flight addon has several advantages:

· Increased player interest. Previously, you could defeat an entire group of mobs—undead, spiders, creepers—almost without using potions, simply by building in time. Now the mechanics will change a bit, and it will become more difficult for players;

· Preservation of the game world’s integrity. If we’re talking about multiplayer servers, each such fight with mobs or players left many blocks on the battlefield, mostly cheap materials such as wood, cobblestone, and bricks. The map simply became “cluttered”. Now the game world will remain cleaner;

· Increased combat skill. Even if previously you could easily deal with mobs or players regardless of their number, you will now have to improve your combat abilities, adapt to the current situation, and this becomes even more interesting for experienced players;

· Detailed customization. Using this mod, you can configure many mechanics and parameters that restrict building—for example, when taking damage from mobs, when dealing damage to an enemy, when targeting a specific creature, and other options. Each player can configure everything to their liking;

· Creating hardcore modpacks. Thousands of modpacks have already been created for Minecraft, but the Only Fight Or Flight mod can be added to any of them. Moreover, you can create your own pack based on this addon by adding several additional hardcore modifications. As a result, surviving in the game will become much more difficult, and many players enjoy this style of gameplay. Why not try it?

The capabilities of the Only Fight Or Flight modification are not as extensive as one might want, but the building restriction changes many game mechanics and forces players to carry more healing potions, improve their armor, involve teammates when going into dangerous dungeons, and grow more plants and crops for cooking food.
