Several new biomes are also added, as well as various structures scattered randomly throughout the world, along with many other unique features. It is one of the most popular mods, containing more than 800 different elements, and the list is constantly being expanded by the developer. At the moment, this expansion has already gained more than 4 million downloads, so it’s definitely worth trying as a decorative mod. We tried to include as many screenshots as possible, but it’s difficult to show hundreds of items and blocks in one article! It’s better to install it once and see for yourself how much variety is available to players.

The mod for decorative elements offers around 900 different blocks, and this list is constantly growing. We showed only part of the content available to you after installing the modification, but even this is enough to understand whether it is worth installing such an expansion in the game or not. There are plenty of decorative possibilities here, and most items are actually used as decorative elements. Some blocks and items can store resources, so they have a separate GUI for interaction. In general, you need to right-click each element to see whether it has any functionality or not.

Available elements of the Nef's Medieval Decoration mod:

· Decorative crates. You have access to a large number of different crates resembling medieval wooden boxes containing loot or food. They look very cool, fully match the style of that era, and convey the atmosphere of the time;

· Food pieces. You can place decorative items such as sliced watermelon, cheese, bread—although their size is somewhat large compared to regular food in the game;

· Shelves. Something like shelves is available, where various types of food are also stored. And despite being decorative elements, the player can right-click to place certain items inside. A very convenient system, although there are quite few slots for storage;

· Logs. One of the nicest categories in this mod is sets of logs stacked in several pieces. For example, these can be bundles of 1 to 4 logs, and this is visually displayed. You can nicely enhance any style—both indoors and near medieval buildings outdoors;

· Fences, tables. You gain access to a certain category of functional items that you can use as tables or new types of fences (barriers) made in the same style;

· Books, bottles, small items. The Nef's Medieval Decoration addon contains a huge set of various elements. For example, here you will find large crates with bottles, bundles, specific types of containers, books from a library, and most of them are used exclusively as decor;

· Barrels. One of the most colorful categories is barrels with various materials. In fact, nothing is actually inside them, and these elements have no functionality, but they fit beautifully into any game style and decorate all kinds of builds. You’ll see barrels with diamonds, emeralds, and other valuable ores;

· Pumpkins and other items. The set is truly large, and one of the available categories includes various types of pumpkins, which are also used for decoration in the game. Small details, aquariums, small baskets, Asian items, and much more are available.

New structures and biomes

In addition to decorative items, various structures and several biomes designed in a medieval style will become available in Minecraft. For example, you will be able to enter pubs and taverns inhabited by peaceful villagers. They will trade with you and exchange various goods. If you wish, you can even stay overnight in such an establishment. Inside, there are many decorative elements, most of which come directly from this mod. The player will see for himself how a building can be decorated using the available elements.

You will also have access to new pillager outposts, where you can interact with mobs or, on the contrary, engage in large-scale battles against creatures. In some locations, large mob graves can be found, and if you discover the “Battlefield” biome, you’ll see how many siege weapons are scattered around, how colorful the towers and other types of structures are. Overall, the mod is highly detailed, well-made, and adds not only decorative elements to the game but also various structures and biomes. This is a huge advantage for such modifications.

The possibilities of the addon are almost limitless, considering how many different items are available for crafting. We didn’t include recipes because there are too many, but most of them are not very resource-demanding. You will be able to craft them even early in your survival, right after generating a new world or loading a save. At the moment, Nef's Medieval Decoration is one of the best mods for medieval-style decor, and it is periodically updated by the author, though not as often as one might like.
