Most Minecraft add-ons are created simply because it’s fun, trendy, or certain mechanics don’t satisfy players, and third-party developers just compensate by creating their own projects. That is, there are few mods created for some ideological reasons. But there are also specific examples where the author sticks to a certain idea and tries to implement it in the cubic world. Today we will tell you about one interesting mod dedicated to endangered species of animals and biomes, most of which exist in the real world.

The Mineageries Plus mod adds over 40 new animals to the game, and almost all of them belong to endangered species in real life. Despite all the problems, in the normal world you can interact with them, spawn, breed, feed, and meet them in different biomes. Each creature contributes to the overall chain and is a connecting link, so every mob here is really important. A wide variety of new biomes where you can explore different locations and simply enjoy the visuals, getting pleasure from the gameplay. In the vanilla version of the game, there are very few mobs and animals that would constantly inhabit areas, distribute evenly across all biomes, and move from one point to another. As a result, the world feels somewhat unrealistic, many locations are “empty,” and this greatly affects the overall gameplay. The developer of this mod radically solves this problem by adding a huge number of new creatures to the game world. And in our opinion, this is an underrated Minecraft expansion that will be in great demand in the future since it contains a lot of interesting content.

Main features of the Mineageries Plus mod:

· Over 40 new animals. The game gets a huge number of new creatures, and almost all of them are recreated based on real animals that you see in our world. High-quality implementation, beautiful textures, pleasant animation, unique behavior of each creature, huge variety, even distribution across all biomes;

· Diversity. This add-on includes different types of creatures, ranging from large animals to small birds, anacondas, meerkats, and many other options. A very wide spectrum of creatures. Moreover, they are divided into active and passive;

· New types of biomes. To populate all the creatures from this mod, the territories available in the vanilla version of the game are not enough. Therefore, many new biomes are added here, each of which participates in the overall wildlife ecosystem and supports the natural spawn of animals;

· Available blocks. Several dozen new materials and blocks appear, and you can use them to create different types of buildings or as decorations. Mostly these are different types of wood, sand, and building blocks;

· Spawn eggs. Since so many animals are added here, the Mineageries Plus developer included all spawn eggs for different creatures. In creative mode, they don’t have a separate tab, although blocks do. You will need to use JEI for quick search or check all spawn eggs in the same section where vanilla ones are located;

· Focus on several biomes. The main emphasis was placed on several important biomes found in the game: jungles, savanna, forested areas. Here you will find the most animals and various blocks, wood;

· High-quality implementation. The developer of this mod approached its creation responsibly and carefully worked out the appearance of each mob, including animations and behavior. Realistic biome types, pleasant landscapes, decent generation.

You now have the opportunity to explore savanna meadows, lush jungles, cherry forests stretching for dozens of chunks. This is a completely different type of world generation that is radically different from vanilla. In future updates, the developer plans to add separate NPCs with whom you can trade and obtain many different goods. The main goal of the developer is to show which animals in reality are endangered, how they affect the overall atmosphere of the world, not only in the game but also in our lives. And this is one of the few mods also pursuing some educational goals.

The Mineageries Plus modification will give you vivid emotions and show how mobs can look in the cubic world, how they interact with each other, and how gameplay can change if all available biomes in Minecraft are populated. Now you will have far fewer “empty” areas in the game, and this is a serious innovation since the vanilla version was too bare and standard. To study new animals, it is recommended to install a separate mod like Neat or YDM’s MobHealthBar so you can view their health stats, dropped loot, and other important parameters at any time.

In general, it can be concluded that this mod attracts not only with its visuals, animal rendering, and quality implementation, but also with the idea embedded by the developer. Despite the fact that this add-on has relatively few downloads compared to other global mods of this type, it can quite compete with them. At the moment, it is available for Forge loader and is not updated very often, but hopefully players will be able to use it on other versions of Minecraft in the future!
