Epic Knights Shields, Armor and Weapons

The chivalry era is gone, but the knighthood romance is still here. And the developers of this mod decided to give it a second life in the world of Minecraft, complementing it with corresponding entourage – armor, weapons, and enemies.

Armor

The mod adds a lot of knight armor with rather high-level characteristics. You can choose a full battle armor set, a light chain mail, heavy or light armor to select from. There are also two types of armor for your war horse.

To craft a new armor, you’ll need to master a new metal – steel. To get it, you’ll need to burn iron nuggets in a smelt furnace and then convert two steel nuggets into steel plates on a workbench.

Fabric armor – brigandines, gambesons, and so on – are made of wool, leather, and fabric.

Weapons

There aren’t just many combat weapons in the mod, but incredibly many of them – over 100 varieties. These include swords, glaives, spears, rapiers, and much more.

In addition to the «elite» weapons, there are also models for common warriors – batons, hammers, blacksmith pitchforks, as well as a longbow and a heavy crossbow. Despite the obvious simplicity and rather cheap crafting, these are powerful weapons, which is only balanced by a reduced attack speed. For example, the baton has +15 damage, but its attack speed is only 0.8, which doesn’t allow you to use it all the time.

Shields

A true knight must have an all-round protection. For this, the mod also adds a lot of different shields of every possible size and composition. Most of these are primitive wooden shields, but there are also iron and even diamond ones – all you may need to feel convenient and comfortable.
