That will not significantly affect the vanilla gameplay because most players did not show any interest in such items anyway. However, after installing this mod, there will be more opportunities, and you will not have to wander through the mines to find a saddle for a horse or any other in-game animal. That will not only save you time but also provide additional benefits for beginners who are just learning the cubic world.

In Minecraft, players have to constantly travel a long distance, both in the Overworld and other dimensions. Even more different biomes appear with each new game version, and players are actively exploring them and moving between locations. And if you install the Craft Saddles and Horse Armor mod, you will be able to create a full-fledged armor right at the start to protect your horse from damage and blows from mobs or a saddle that will allow you to move around the game world on various animals, including pigs. As for the armor, some of its types will require valuable materials. Thus, to craft the iron one, you will need seven iron ingots, whereas the diamond armor requires seven diamonds. The recipes themselves are shown in the screenshots. The crafting principle is the same for all the armor types — only the resource used differs.

Thanks to such a system, any player can create different types of armor in a couple of clicks for subsequent equipping horses. You will thus be able to move around the game world, collect various resources, and develop way faster. In the vanilla game version, the saddle can be found exclusively in dungeons, so players cannot acquire such items at the start, given that they have no armor and tools to go down into the mines and fight off mobs. The Craft Saddles and Horse Armor add-on is designed to fix that situation by providing you with unique functionality right at the initial game stages.

Horse armor plays a significant role in Minecraft. Moreover, the recent game updates also brought a dog armor. So the player can now fully protect some of their pets by equipping them with full-fledged armor. However, while the dog armor is easily craftable, the horse armor has to be looked for in dungeons, as the saddles have. The Craft Saddles and Horse Armor mod will slightly change the standard approach to survival and give you certain advantages. You can play with this mod both in singleplayer mode and on any Minecraft server if you wish to survive with other players.

Summing it up, we can say that the Craft Saddles and Horse Armor mod adds truly helpful content to the game without significantly spoiling the vanilla principle of survival. However, you will have to spend resources for crafting different types of armor, depending on the material. So it will be, at times, more expensive for the user to create an armor than to find it in a dungeon or treasury.
