Grow Trees in Pots

There are many different types of trees in Minecraft, and when we collect wood from them, saplings drop with a certain probability, which can later be used to plant a new forest or restore trees. However, the game mechanics only allow growing a tree on soil. Why can't this be done, for example, in pots? After all, many flowers and saplings initially grow in such containers. But especially for lovers of “indoor” plants, a special mod was created that slightly changes the standard mechanics of the game, but adds new decorative elements!

Botany Trees allows you to grow trees in pots and is an addon for Botany Pots. Now you can use a large number of decorative pots in which you can place different types of trees. They will be small in size but completely copy the textures of the original sapling. These plants are used as decor, but here, with the help of bone meal, you can also get resources! As a result, in Minecraft you can now grow not only various types of plants in pots but also “dwarf-sized” trees. You can see in the screenshots how this looks in Minecraft.

The Botany Pots modification is the main one in this list, so you will definitely need to install this addon in the game to use the other mod. With the help of this tool, unique types of pots are added to the vanilla world, into which you can plant various types of plants, for example, from the Nether like mushrooms or vegetation, and from the regular world. A huge number of different types of pots are available, created from available materials. The choice is large, and all of them have certain functionality. This was a bit of an “introduction” to the intricacies of the Botany Pots modification, since without it the correct operation of the next addon is impossible!

The Botany Trees mod adds another important feature to the plant-growing mechanics: now you can plant small copies of tree saplings in pots. These can be both vanilla variants from Minecraft and from third-party mods such as Harvestcraft, Biomes O' Plenty, Botania, and so on. As a result, trees can be grown in pots! And there are certain features:

· Botany Pots are used, which can be created from various materials;

· You can grow any types of saplings from the vanilla version of the game, as well as from dozens of other global modifications;

· To plant a sapling, you need to interact with a separate GUI interface, which is activated by right-clicking on the pot. Here you will need to add a block that will be soil (e.g. sand or dirt), and also insert the sapling;

· All saplings in pots have several growth stages, and with each new stage, they grow slightly upwards;

· If you use bone meal, you can literally grow a dwarf tree in a pot in a couple of steps;

· The full growth cycle drops several wood blocks from the sapling that grows there. For example, if you planted birch in the pot, you will get birch planks and saplings.

This system allows you to quickly grow dwarf trees, create unique types of decor in Minecraft, and also get wood without spending a lot of time chopping each block. However, you get significantly fewer materials (compared to regular tree felling after full growth). Therefore, this mod is more suitable as decoration if you want to decorate the interior, add some new elements to your house, and simply diversify the style. With such plants and a large number of pots, many different decoration options are available for all types of buildings.

All types of trees that exist in vanilla mode are available. These include regular saplings, large oak, acacia, and many other variants. The modification supports a huge number of saplings from third-party mods, and the developer continues to update the product by adding even more new options so that they can be used as decor. In the end, you will need to install 2 mods: Botany Pots and Botany Trees to get access to the pots and the ability to plant saplings in Minecraft.
