Instillation:

DOWNLOAD AND UNZIP FOLDER

CONTAINED WITHIN IS THE RESOURCE PACK .ZIP, REMOVE AND UNZIP INTO RESOURCE PACKS:

PLACE "ASTARTES ARMOURY RESOURCE PACK 2025" IN .minecraft > resourcepacks

PLACE "ASTARTES WARHAMMER GAME WORLD" IN .minecraft > saves

load in vanilla game version 1.21.2

load up the save file and the game should begin automatically.

MAKE SURE THE RESOURCE PACK IS ENABLED TO SEE THE ASSETS, ENEMIES AND WEAPONS. WITHOUT IT OBJECTS WILL APPEAR AS VANILLA BASE MODELS THAT DONT MAKE SENSE FOR THE GAME CONTEXT,

This was my first attempt at making a game using datapacks in Minecraft. It is a First Person Shooter based on the "Warhammer 40K" IP owned by Games Workshop. This game is in no way affiliated, sponsored or licenced by  Games Workshop, however it is transformative in nature and was not produced for monetary gain. This game uses 100% custom entities and items produced by CultOfMJ without any pre-existing assets other than those found in the vanilla Minecraft base game.

In total roughly 150 hours were spent on this project. It uses Datapacks, Custom Model Data and Animated Java Rigs to simulate a first person shooter.

This was my first time making a datapack like this, and I did it completely solo so there are likely to be many bugs, please feel free to leave a comment informing me of any bugs you encounter. when in doubt do /reload and stand near a level trigger point.
