Review Adam's Aldourie Castle

I recreated Aldourie Castle in Minecraft and thought I'd upload the world files so other people can take a look around.  It's perfect for anyone who is interested in Aldourie Castle, getting ideas and inspiration from Minecraft or just have general curiosity. 

The world's primary focus is on the exterior of Aldourie Castle.  Some internal details have been added but this is mostly to add some visual accents whilst viewing the outside of the building.  A very rough placement of the internal structure has also been added so people can get an idea of the inside too, like the number and layout of rooms however I am lacking all of the info I need to recreate the inside so it's more of an extrapolated floor plan.  I may be updating this in the future if I find more information on the subject.

This castle was very fun to build in Minecraft as normally I tend to make buildings that naturally fit into Minecraft's grid layout and nearly every single part of Aldourie Castle fights against this principle.  I felt like I had to make a few compromises here and there but at the end of the day some how I banged this round peg into a square hole.

I made this world with Sphax PureBDCraft Texturepack enabled but you'll have pretty much the same experience using the default texture pack.
